Call for abstracts

Guidelines for preparation and submission of abstracts (APLD-2016):

1. Abstracts may only be submitted via internet on this website. Abstracts submitted by fax or email will not be accepted.

2. All abstracts must be submitted in English.

3. Abstracts that have been published before are NOT accepted. However, abstracts presented at local, regional or national meetings may be submitted.

4. Participants are invited to submit abstracts under any of the categories listed below.

5. Abstract title is limited to 25 words. Do not define or use abbreviations in the title.

6. Author or authors’ names should be written as follows; family name, initial(s) of first name(s) (e.g. Smith, JC). The name of the presenting author must be underlined. Affiliation details of all authors are included; Department; Institution / Hospital; City; State/Province (if relevant); Country

7. The abstract text must not exceed 300 words (excluding title and authors). The abstract must be typed in a font size of 11 pt and in Times New Roman and should be organized as follows:

Results

Conclusion (avoid statements like “the findings will be discussed”.)

8. Use only standard abbreviations in the abstract text. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full word the first time it appears. Do not use footnotes or references in the abstracts.

9. Each abstract should not have more than one Figure and one Table. Table and Figure should be submitted in JPG format in the insert image module. Maximum size is 1024 x 768 pixels.

10. After having submitted your abstract, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail with your abstract reference number and personal address code and password. If you do not receive a confirmation by e-mail please contact apld2016@vnuexhibitionsap.com

11. If an abstract is accepted, one author must register, attend the conference and present it in person.
